Stabilize soils on shoreline embankments to prevent erosion problems caused by water contact, surface flow and wave action. Protect geomembranes on ponds, or stormwater/wastewater containment basins. The Presto Geoweb® Shoreline Protection System is a proven solution for and structurally-stable environment for infill materials. Through a 3D confinement structure, the system confines and reinforces the upper soil layer, providing resistance to erosive conditions and sliding forces. The Geoweb system provides long-term stability of sustainable vegetation, permeable aggregate or hard-armored concrete.
When hard soils or impervious liners don't allow driving of anchors, then high-strength tendons become part of the design solution. Tendon details are part of the complimentary design solution that Presto offers.
The Geoweb system is the original cellular confinement system developed by Presto over 30 years ago.
Need protection from concentrated surface flow? Consider the Presto GeoRunner® Flow Protection Mats for durable protection against surface flow scour, high water impact and wave action. GeoRunner mats are easily installed and anchored to resist pull-out caused from saturated soils. An open mesh design allows grass growth through the mats, reducing their visibility and allowing natural blending with the environment. Contractors see large cost-savings compared to concrete mat systems.
